911 Technology was created as a web site for dispatch centers to share 911 technical information. It's a web site for dispatch centers to help each other. Don't reinvent the wheel, someone else has already solved that problem. Please browse the following areas: RFI's, RFP's, Solutions, How it Works, and a Technology Blog. The "Solutions" area contains downloads, pictures, and examples of technology solutions that may be useful to all dispatch centers. The "How it Works" page provides descriptions of how common 911 technologies work. These areas may be just what you are looking for.

If you are a dispatch professional, we need your input. Post one of your public safety solutions, RFI's, RFP's, or "How it Works". Let everyone know how you solved a technical problem. All posts should include the agency name along with the name of the person making the post. To post your solutions press the CONTACT button and follow the instructions. By sharing information, we can save each other a lot of time and effort.
